About Our Salon The new salon was featured in CB Sullivan’s Salon Catalog and continues to have photographs from the salon featured in every edition. The salon has won the Seacoast’s “Best of the Best” for the last 3 years. They have been featured in the Portsmouth Herald and continue to advertise in numerous Bridal magazines and local papers. In February, Sanctuary was the salon chosen to provide their services for the annual “Wedding Gala”, an upscale event featuring local vendors in an attempt to increase awareness to brides residing in Boston and throughout the country. The Gala promotes the ability of the Seacoast to have the resources available to create high-end luxury weddings. A large portion of the proceeds are donated to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. The members of Sanctuary are very excited about this upscale event as they were they only salon chosen to participate. Sanctuary has recently started offering Pro-Styles Hair Extension Systems. All stylists are trained and certified in hair extensions techniques. This is a diverse service, giving people long locks of hair as well as thickening thin hair. Hair Extensions are very popular for Wedding Day hairdos. Brides can have the long beautiful hair they always wished for on their wedding day with no grow out time necessary. Sanctuary continues to support local charities. Some of those include the Warner House Foundation, The Pontine Theatre, Lock Box Foundation, Aids Response Seacoast, Locks for Love as well as Portsmouth Youth Athletics.
